"Renaissance Runway" Costume Contest Weekend - July 24 and 25, 2010. This special event is free to enter. From lords and ladies in full Renaissance regalia to Star Trekkers and fairies, World War II re-enactors or Ancient Greek gods, Bristol's newly-revamped costume contest welcomes all expressions of creative couture. Saturday is fantasy day (anything goes, from wizards to bananas!). Sunday's theme will be history. Participants are encouraged to costume themselves in authentic dress from Ancient Rome to World War II. Plein Aire Event - July 31 and August 1, 2010. Watch renowned artists work on Saturday and Sunday, painting the excitement of the faire. Then have the opportunity to purchase the works of art on Sunday. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION!
