Special Notice - ROAD CONSTRUCTION!
Directions to the Bristol Renaissance Faire during summer 2008 road construction.

Construction on a number of roadways normally used to access the Bristol Renaissance Faire will create the need for alternate routes during the entire 2008 Faire season. We suggest that you avoid the usual routes and follow these directions instead.
Recommended Routes for the 2008 Season:
From Milwaukee: (slight change in directions June 25, 2008)
take I-94 south to Exit 345 - Hwy C. Right (west) on Hwy C to Cty Rd U. Left (south) on U to 116th Street. Left (east) on 116th Street to the Faire. Follow the signs.
From Chicago: (no change in directions)
take I-94 north (or Hwy. 41) to Russell Road exit. Right (east) on Russell Road to Hwy H (Kilbourne). Left (north) on Hwy H to Cty ML. Left (west) on ML to the Faire. Follow the signs.

TOPAlso, two stop lights have been added to Russell Rd. at I-94 exit because the long southbound ramp from I-94 to Hwy. 41 is closed. All southbound traffic for 41 must now exit at Russell and get to 41 using Old Hwy 41. See the IL map and PDF further down. Our work-arounds are designed to help avoid some of the Russell Rd./I-94 mess at Frontage Rd.

NON-construction-year directions
From the North:
Traveling south on I-94, take exit # 347 onto Highway 165 which is also called Lakeside Parkway. This exit is past (south) of Highway 50 and County C.
Head west on Highway 165, take first left on to the west Frontage Road going south, which you take for about 2 miles. There is an old barn with a metal roof and two silos on the right. Enter using the second driveway beyond the barn.
From the South:
Traveling north on I-94, exit to the right on Russell Road. Turn left (west) on Russell Rd. crossing over I-94 and go to the first stop sign which is at the Frontage Rd. and on the west side of I-94.
Turn right (north) on the Frontage Rd. and go past 128th St. (WG) and where the divided road joins, there is a driveway. Turn left up the drive to the Faire.
From the West:
US45 runs north & south and is intersected by WG about 6 miles west of the Faire. WG is also called 128th Street or State Line Road. Travel on WG east to frontage road.
