While these rules are for last year's contest, the rules for 2007 will probably be similar. Rules will be online in the fall, I believe.

OFFICIAL RULES for the 2006 Photo Contest

1. No purchase necessary.
2. Employees of the New York Renaissance Faire and their immediate families are not eligible to participate.
3. Only photos of the 2006 New York Renaissance Faire may be submitted.
4. NYRF reserves the right to substitute prizes based on availability.
5. Each photo must be labeled with a completed entry blank.
6. Prints must be 3.5" x 5" or larger, and may be black and white or color.
7. Prizes are not transferable and NO substitutions for cash will be made.
8. Winners are responsible for any taxes on prizes.
9. Entries must be postmarked no later than 11/21/06.
10. Sponsoring companies are not responsible for entries delayed, lost or mutilated in the mail.
11. PHOTOS WILL NOT BE RETURNED, and become the property of the New York Renaissance Faire.
12. Entered photos may be used in connection with advertising, promotions and other activities. By entering contest, participants grant the New York Renaissance Faire and Renaissance Entertainment Corporation full rights to publish and or exhibit their photos without payment or compensation.
13. Winning photos will be selected on the basis of originality and interest. Decisions of the judges are final. Winners may be asked to provide original negatives or transparencies.
14. All entries must be mailed with correct postage to the address stated above the entry form itself.
